After a successful career in the digital space, the founder decided to refocus on creating physical works of art with a unique mix of materials and techniques. de.Gallerij strives to create inspiring works of art that utilize the dynamics of light and shadow to provide an ever-changing visual experience throughout the day.
01. Challenge
The founder of de.Gallerij wanted to create a strong online presence to showcase his artwork and artistic vision. The challenge was to develop a WordPress website that was not only visually appealing and easy to use, but could also present the unique 3D wall art pieces in a clear way. In addition, the website had to be functional for both potential buyers and art lovers, with an easy-to-navigate webshop integration and with a great gallery experience.
02. Approach
We started with a thorough analysis of the.Gallery's needs. Together with the founder, we have drawn up a clear vision and functional requirements. 03. Solution
We chose WordPress as a platform because of its simplicity and flexibility. We created an interactive gallery and added e-commerce functionality to facilitate the sale of artworks and chose to integrate WooCommerce to handle the sales part of the website. In addition, we have optimized the website for search engines to increase online visibility.
